In response the June 15-21 Sound Off “Proper Flag Display,” other areas have the same issues as well. The American flag that hangs on the silo on top of Waterman Hill hangs all night, unlit. So do many flags in the area. Hanging in the dark, sopping in the rain, and sometimes frozen stiff. They show no respect for our country or our flag. Take your flag down at sunset or light it at night at keep it in good shape.
