In response to a recent photo on NorthCountryNow.com showing deer in downtown Canton, as cool as it seems to see deer in the village of Canton, they are very destructive. They will eat all flowering plants, such as lilies, and anything else that we try and grow. We cannot put up 10-foot fences or fire a gun in the village; so how are we supposed to deal with what is becoming a nuisance? Are they simply wandering into the village in search of food or has someone been feeding them, and thus, they keep coming back? Maybe the mayor can respond with some kind of plan. I don't want my property damaged any longer.
