I think the farmers that use the big trucks to haul their harvest back to the farm should have to cover their loads for safety reasons like other truckers. I came up on one the other day, and there was so much produce flying out the top that it was worse than driving in a snowstorm because the pieces are bigger than snow, and it made it hard to get by him. You know these are the same farmers that get deer permits for crop damage. If they are that worried about crop loss they ought to cover their loads. I would bet that with all the loads they haul and the amount that blows out it probably amounts to a ton or tons lost depending on the farm. I think there ought to be a law enacted to require farmers to cover their trucks for safety and to save their product instead of littering it on the road.
