District Attorney Mary Rain has been taking a bum rap since she was elected. I personally received nothing but professionalism and positive results from her, the ADA's and her office staff as a crime victim. There appears to be a nonsensical head hunting expedition for Rain and a vicious organized effort to deliberately derail the smooth running of her office. It is a shame that victims are having to pay for this nonsense as well as the taxpayers. It shows time and time again who are the ones running the smear campaign. Would it not make far more sense for county legislators to be focusing on why there was thousands of wasted taxpayer dollars spent for an ineffective program system to balance the county checkbooks, which apparently have not been balanced for three years? The county passes a budget not even knowing how much money there is available? Why are county officials not all over this? Time to seriously get real!
