What can we do to get rid of this loose cannon in the DA’s office? We have enough crime in St. Lawrence County to investigate without wasting our tax dollars on a grand jury to see who exactly forgot to renew a grant for the DA’s office. Why doesn’t Mary Rain step up and say “oops my fault” since it was her grant to apply for? Isn’t it nonfeasance that Mary Rain didn’t apply for her own grant? Who will investigate her? Good thing Sound Off is anonymous or maybe she would indict me. We get this after only 6 months on the job. I fear the worst is yet to come.
