I would like to say that there needs to be an active campaign in Norwood to rein in the excessive noise produced by motorcycles. The law states that the decibel level should be 82db below 35 mph and 86db above 35 mph. I can state that many drivers of bikes in Norwood area exceed that level. I laugh when I see decibel levels set for wind turbines but law enforcement disregards this much more invasive source of noise pollution. To add to that, they exceed the speed limit so they can rev up the engines. Let’s put some enforcement back on the streets of Norwood seeing as we pay for it. Maybe we could have bought a decibel meter instead of a new patrol car. Step up and do your duty please, mayor of Norwood!
