So are we hollowing out the interior of Canton? Now Rite-Aid is heading to the outskirts and all we have are places to eat and a gas station. No convenience store or grocery with halfway decent prices within walking distance during the noon hour when traffic coagulates the streets. And don’t get me started on the traffic lights in regards to the crosswalks. Last night, several pedestrians got the crossing light at the theater to cross to the chamber side. As they started crossing, the seconds started counting down almost immediately, and the traffic from the Court Street got the arrow to turn right! How is that possible? =The woman had to run across the street with her little boy who looked to be about three or four. Ridiculous! I guess if we make Canton a place where no one wants to be we won’t have to worry about crossing streets, right?
