Looking at the Courier Observer, I saw two articles regarding Colton-Pierrepont Central School (“Superintendent Pool for CPCS Down to Three,” “CPCS and PHCS Seek Tax Levy Hikes,” April 23). Sorry, but CPCS should not be looking for a new superintendent or tax hikes; they should be looking at how to consolidate with other schools. I would like to say that 325 students at CPCS should be easy enough to consolidate with other local schools. Seems to me that it would be easy to send them to Canton, Parishville-Hopkinton, and Potsdam. I, for one, will go and vote down the tax levy hikes. I already pay too much.
