Courageous cancer battle

“Died after a courageous battle with cancer.” Much too often I see this headline honoring someone who died from cancer. If I am diagnosed with cancer, I will not fight it. Nor will I seek treatment, cut my body up, subject myself to endless operations, radiation treatments or chemotherapy. What a financial drain this causes families. I have witnessed the “courageous Battle with Cancer” by people whom I do not know, by family members of friends and most concerning to me from personal family members -- all resulting with the same end in life. Maybe hospitals and doctors do not want an ending treatment for this disease. There is much money to be gained helping everyone fight the “courageous battle with cancer.” I will call a spade a spade, if I am diagnosed with cancer. I will surround myself with family and friends and enjoy my remaining Life that I am blessed with in full mind and spirit. God bless those who have died after a courageous battle with cancer.
