Mary Rain ran for district attorney lambasting the failures of her predecessor. Now she wants the county to fund a multiple department shift so she doesn’t have to deal with the same space issues that several prior DAs had to contend with. The county’s financial circumstances would argue against the reported $120K cost. This does not take into account the functional disruption of the other departments that would be forced to move.
