In response to “Take CTE Seriously” which appeared in the Oct. 11-17 issue of North Country This Week: You’re wrong, CTE is caused from repeated blows to the head which causes concussions. This is caused from playing any contact sports. Whatever sport: boxing, football, soccer, hockey…if there a chance of a concussion you can get CTE. The science and the studies have been proven google it. You as a parent now must choose wisely is it worth five minutes of fame and glory for a lifetime of misery and memory loss.
