I can't help notice every time I drive into the Town of Potsdam that it’s the same thing: gridlock. The NYSDOT has accomplished making it unbearable to drive through the town without experiencing the pain of gridlock. This town needs the majority of its traffic lights removed and roundabouts installed so traffic can flow smoothly. I've been into towns in southern New York counties such as Dutchess for example where traffic is much higher and they work great. If they work for them, then they can work for congested old Potsdam. There's just no need for all these traffic lights causing all this congestion.
