If people around here were serious about getting the economy kickstarted based on tourism, they would be working to get a year-round concert venue. There are a lot of music fans spending big bucks each year to see the bands they love, and all that money is going to everywhere else besides the North Country. Maybe not necessarily a 50,000 seat arena that would host The Rolling Stones, but a couple thousand seats and bring in up-and-comers or older bands that are still loved but not famous on a level of The Stones. Also, open a second run theater with cheap tickets for films that have been out of the theater for 10 years or more.
