Norwood-Norfolk Central School should be very proud of the students who participated in the holiday concert Thursday, Dec. 8. They did an outstanding job. However, the audience was totally rude. After the chorus sang, about one quarter of the audience got up and left. More left after each separate group performed. By the time the band played the auditorium was only half full. These students and their teachers worked very hard to put on a concert for their family and friends. and others around me thought it was terribly rude to the students not to stay for the whole concert. Did you only attend because you felt an obligation to your student? If you were attending a concert at Crane, would you get up and leave after you had heard your favorite selection? Well, it was your loss. The rest of the students and band members were excellent and appreciated.
