I do not believe that the high school students that were arrested for breeching the computer system at Madrid-Waddington Central School are in line to work for the NSA. I do know that all the school district websites are extremely in need of updating and maintenance. If the websites are any measure of the lack of technology, it is easy to see how it would be very simple to breech a computer at any of these schools. It would be great if one of the area colleges would have undergraduates work on building better websites and security control for data as a senior capstone project. This would provide students with a real world experience to help local districts that are in desperate need of technology support.
