In response to “Who’s Running Things” which ran in the Aug. 12-18 issue of North Country This Week: I appreciate the sentiment. I return home often and can only imagine the thriving community that I was privileged to grow up in. Why doesn't Potsdam have a community action coalition that develops a long-range plan? It brings together all stakeholders, to rejuvenate the village and most especially the downtown area. The state has an initiative called Livable Communities...it's a blueprint. Read up on it.
