It’s about time the St. Lawrence County Legislators pulled on their big boy pants and voted with common sense instead of emotion. Anyone with half a brain, other than one misguided North Country Assemblywoman, knows that the so called SAFE Act won’t do anything to stop another mass shooting like Sandy Hook. It’s high time we started laying the blame at the feet of the real reasons for these insane acts and not on the backs of the law abiding gun owners of this state. If New York City loves this law so much, then let them put it with the rest of their ineffective gun laws and leave the sensible sector alone. I am and always have been a conservative, pro gun, anti-abortion, and anti-gay marriage New Yorker and I do belong here.
