Changes to 99.3 good for North Country, '80s music enjoyable

Unbeknownst to many of the prior listeners of 99 Hits FM, not everyone in the North Country likes country music. Just because we are labeled a rural district does not automatically mean that everyone listens to the same genre of music. I was thrilled to find out that 99.3 had changed their format. I used to listen to them a long time ago before they switched to country and was excited to find out that my one-time favorite radio station was going to be changing to an 80’s music play list. I think it is fantastic. As for the lack of news and events, you should actually listen to the station. I hear national/local news plus sports on my way to work every morning. I know plenty of people who are happy that 99.3 has decided to change things up a bit.
