Heartfelt thanks to the New York Power Authority for the holiday parties, children’s movies, outdoor festivities, and friendly, accommodating staff at Hawkins Point Visitor Center. As summer brings visitors to our region, though, please tend to repairs in this gem of a building. Hands-on exhibits are broken, a video has sound but no picture, the power-generating bike’s seat is deteriorating, the “bubble” wall of water is in disrepair, the blue tube lights overhead are not working. This is a wonderful facility, but getting raggedy. We appreciate the Center’s activities, and any attention you can give the exhibits!
