The proposed buying of two homes next to the school for half a million dollars and removing these properties from being taxed is absurd. Then having to pay for the removal & any other costs down the road is even worse. The school is building a ball field adjoining the school already owned property. Why can’t the students/faculty use that new parking lot? Also, where is the security for my child as you have admitted to having blocked fire lanes and double parking. Every school has parking issues when big events happen, Removal of taxed properties is not the answer when the school already owns massive land. Get innovative with what we already have! These budget proposals need to be looked at closely when the Canton taxpayers are voting.
