The people in Colton that tried to block ATVs from being used on Colton roads said it was because it was dangerous. They think that that ATVs sharing the road way is dangerous for people walking, and because they have the share the road with bigger vehicles. I agree. I also think that it is dangerous to have canoes and kayaks in the Raquette River. It is dangerous for people who are swimming, and because they have to share the water with bigger boats. I will be petitioning Brookfield to revise the usage plan to ban canoes and kayaks in Colton to protect these people.
