In response to “Don’t buy locally,” I am tired of people who gripe and complain about the sales tax being raised to eight percent. What is one penny per dollar? I did not hear all of you complaining when the landowners were footing the bill. You tell the readers not to buy locally, how dare you? Did it never occur to you that the businesses that you boycott own the property that their business sits on? To buy locally is supporting that business and giving much needed relief to the folks who pay the taxes in order that you can continue to enjoy the services that these taxes pay for. Think about it.
