This shooting tragedy in Orlando has my brain going in circles. I am the proud parent of a married gay child with two adorable grandsons. Yes, the shooting was done by someone with radical thoughts but the majority of us tolerate prejudice in our society on a daily basis. Does anyone deserve to die for being different? What do you see in the faces of two women kissing, two men holding hands or Muslim parents watching their children play at a playground? What is it you see in their faces justifying the crude comments and hurtful treatment? What I see in their faces is a reflection of my wife's face when I kiss her. Their eyes display love, caring, adoration and happiness, that’s all I see. Please put your religious beliefs and personal opinions aside. Everyone has the right to enjoy these feelings and live as you without fear or persecution.
