In response to the article "Police Chiefs Not Opposed to Body Cameras," why would this be needed in St. Lawrence County? Unless they are paid for by the officers themselves…I do not think taxpayers should be forced to pay for such a thing. I understand in cities…where crime occurs on a larger scale and much more often. But the odds of a camera changing the outcome of any illegal activity in St. Lawrence County is minimal. Instead of body cameras, let's worry about feeding the hungry, educating our children and putting some money away for a rainy day.
