Well I searched the police blotter today, and there were very few college students cited Friday night in Canton. As we walked around town we see laws being openly broken right in front of numerous police agencies: open containers, most likely under age, then littering (I picked up $20.75 worth of cans) public intoxication, public urination, jaywalking and noise ordnance violations. All in my two-mile walk. Now, don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with letting loose and having fun, but when any one of these offenses occur when police are bored they nail you with everything they can.
