Regarding “Pep Band Not to Blame” (Nov. 24 – 30), is the writer at the same games I’m at? I enjoy the music and some of the chants but the band and students are 100 percent to blame for the vulgar cheers about the opposing team and refs. They also have no respect for the announcer or the fans who wish to hear the announcements. I look forward to the one game a year the band is not there.
