In response to "Bar and Driver Should be Held Responsible for Woman's Death," I have an idea. Lets let everyone become even less responsible for their own acts. It is a tragedy that this poor woman’s life ended, but it was not the bartender that was driving the car impaired. How many times have people slipped out the back door and hoped in their car and drove their vehicles when they should not have? Perhaps we should make everyone drink GPS, so the bartender can keep track of everyone’s whereabouts. Sure, if a bartender/waitress sees that someone is heavily impaired they should cut them off, but they are not babysitters. I got it. Why don't we sue the delivery guy who delivered the alcohol? What about the manufacturer? And, why not the drinking glass company? Without them they would have had to drink out of their hands. It's time for people to take responsibility for their own acts.
