Personally, I think the "toilet art" is unique and interesting. Mr. Robar could have made some significantly different displays; imagine smeared fecal art, for one. But, he chose to make those toilets beautiful with flowers. My personal opinion aside, I want to remind readers that there is so much suffering in the world: refugees living in desperate conditions, children often not attending school because of an education disaster in their country, women and children being brutally raped in war-torn countries, intense hunger the world over, families ripped apart by poverty and drug or alcohol addiction. Is a guy protesting something he feels strongly about by displaying art really that terrible? Aren't there other problems throughout the world, around our own country, in our own neck of the woods, that are more deserving of the passionate outpouring of anger that has been aimed at this one man?
