Regarding “Move If Taxes Too High,” (March 9-15), please, please, please tell me you are not an educator. Your argument is so flawed I don’t know where to begin. My guess if you went to a restaurant and felt you were overcharged, you would not go back. Any place you do business with does pay its employees from the money you paid for the service. If enough people felt the same the business would either have to lower their rates or go out of business. The public doesn’t have the same options when it comes to just changing where we get our children educated or police protection and other public works. We can’t go elsewhere and if we don’t pay our taxes we lose our houses and our liberties (jail). We feel like we literally have a gun pointed at our heads saying pay us what we want or we take you out. We are now saying go ahead, pull the trigger. We’ve had it with being treated like an endless money well.
