While browsing the local North Country Now website, I was thinking of writing a few lines in the “Sound Off” section to express some opinions about local concerns. It caught my eye that criticism of local people or business would not be accepted. I guess “Sound Off” doesn’t feel that one should complain if they are royally “wronged” by a local business or person. Perhaps this particular part of NCN and “This Week” should be eliminated. If you’re going to limit free speech because you’re afraid of liabilities, what’s the use of having this vocal vehicle?
