I’m so tired of people saying that most of the people that voted against the merger don’t pay property taxes and shouldn’t vote. What a joke! If you live in the area you can vote. Many people pay rent and therefore a portion of the rent goes to property taxes. Also, if it involves your children and their future then I would worry about the ones who didn’t vote. But please don’t think you are so well informed because you voted yes. I am proud that people turned out and showed they care. Don’t be so hateful and negative. If Potsdam was hurting so bad we wouldn’t have had the pleasure to vote in the beautiful new auditorium. Great lighting and comfortable seats!
