I want to applaud and encourage the North Country's emerging activist streak. From protesting the repeal of the ACA, to showing up to the local legislature to stand up against racism, it is heartening to see so many people rising up. This area is not always known for its progressive tendencies, and I hope that this is a step in a new direction for the North Country.
