Their three dining rooms provide the unique ambiance of dining in a 160-year-old farmhouse that has been furnished with antiques and period wall coverings that showcase the house and community during the past century and a half. They exclusively serve only their own Black Angus Beef, which the owners raise (and is growth-hormone free) in a humane environment just a mile away from the restaurant. All their breads and desserts are created from scratch in-house, they use locally-roasted organic coffees, and make their own ice cream and gelato. Chef Mikel VanArsdale and her experienced kitchen staff create exceptional, wholesome, made-to-order outstanding dishes. The restaurant (also referred to as “Windy Point Angus Grill”) offers a full breakfast menu featuring all the usuals as well as great omelets, scratch-made pancakes, a number of Eggs Benedict variations (customer favorites!), and on the weekends they also serve Belgian Waffles and Crepes. Their Smoothies are always a hit at breakfast for a healthy choice. Lunch features several signature salads, wraps, grilled sandwiches, Windy Point Black Angus burgers, hand-cut fries, homemade soup and chili. Dinner features their Windy Point Angus Steaks, as well as chicken, fish, seafood and pasta entrees, and tempting appetizers. To compliment an already outstanding dining experience, they have an eclectic selection of fine wines, bottled beers, and cocktails. Cordials wonderfully enhance their coffees! The bar and lounge is an all-day and night event, which, in addition to wine, beer, and cocktails, also features Harney Teas, and gourmet brewed coffee, specially blended and roasted locally by St. Lawrence Valley Roasters. They offer a full range of espresso/cappuccino drinks to be enjoyed at the Adirondack granite bar. Of course, all meals and coffee breaks are best accompanied by a sweet delicacy created with love from old family recipes by their in-house pastry chefs. The bakery also creates a variety of breads, rolls, special occasion cakes, cupcake cakes, cheesecakes, pies, and pastries. Homemade donuts are made in-house every weekend morning. The ice cream parlor is serving in-house made hard ice cream, as well as soft ice cream year-round. Spring through fall they make sumptuous Italian gelato and sorbet in-house.
