From the Seaway to the Adirondacks, summer is the time for camping

Camping is a great way to enjoy the many fishing, hiking, swimming and boating opportunities in St. Lawrence County.

From the shores of the St. Lawrence Seaway and Blake Lake to remote areas of the Adirondacks, nearly 40 private and public campgrounds are located throughout the area.

More than one dozen golf courses

From the banks of the St. Lawrence Seaway to the Adirondacks, St. Lawrence County features more than a dozen nine-hole and 18-hole golf courses, offering a variety of playing opportunities.

Hiking and mountain climbing

From strenuous mountain climbs to leisurely walks in the woods, dozens of hiking trails are available both within St. Lawrence County and a short drive away.

Many trails are maintained by the state Department of Environmental Conservation, while others are located in county forests.
