Potsdam Easyhome is now a Rent-a-Center

POTSDAM -- The former Easyhome center in Potsdam is now a Rent-a-Center.

The change resulted from a deal brokered between the companies in which Easyhome sold 15 U.S. locations to Rent-A-Center and purchased 15 stores, from the same company, in Canada.

The sales were finalized in January.

Easyhome is a Canadian-based leasing company. Rent-A-Center is a U.S. based merchandise leasing company.

Rent-A-Center also operates stores in Massena, Gouverneur and Ogdensburg.
