Coach Matt Kelly who himself did some painting along with the team talked about their volunteer work.
“It is great to have our team come out in the community and lend a Helping Hand. In the past they have been a part of the town clean up in Potsdam and have served as big sisters to local students. When we recruit we tell the ladies what a close knit community Potsdam and Clarkson are and this is an opportunity for them to become a part of that community,” said Kelly.
Helping Hands director Tom Chappell commented on the work being done at Helping Hands:
“We rely on volunteers to do what we do, We simply could not help as many people as we do without the efforts of dedicated volunteers like the ones from Clarkson Hockey,” said Helping Hands director Tom Chappell.
