POTSDAM – Chason Affinity Partners of Buffalo, developers of Affinity Potsdam Cottages at 206-208 Main St., has received approval to subdivide the 103 acres they bought across from SUNY Potsdam.
The village Planning Board earlier this month approved their request for a subdivision of 18.36 acres for the cottages, which are under construction now.
The subdivision will separate the project from the much larger purchase Affinity made from Adon Farms. The subdivision could allow Affinity to sell off the remaining land.
Construction on the project, planned to house about 300 students and others in apartments in the cottages, has begun, but a completion date is not firm, according to Affinity.
