CHIPMAN -- Lifetree Café will present “Preparing for the Worst: How to Survive a Catastrophe,” Monday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m.
The program will discuss steps to prepare for the worst, including filmed interviews with a United States Geological Survey earthquake expert and self-reliance expert Ron Douglas.
“Both natural disasters and personal tragedies can strike our lives at any time,” says Lifetree Café representative Craig Cable. “We can take steps now to help prepare. But how far is too far?”
Snacks and beverages will be available.
Lifetree Café will take place at the Scotch Presbyterian Church.
Lifetree Café is a place where people can gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual coffeehouse-type setting.
