Funeral services for Kathleen “Kathy” (Brenno) Ginter, age 49 of Plaxdale Road, Liverpool, and formerly of Ogdensburg will be held on Thursday (Sept 27, 2012) at 4:00 p.m. at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Rev. F. James Shurtleff officiating. Burial will be at Notre Dame Cemetery.
Calling hours will also be held on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Kathy passed away on Monday (Sept 24) at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Surviving is her husband, Richard of Liverpool; two brothers, Harold Brenno and his wife Debra and James Brenno Jr. and his wife Rebecca, of Ogdensburg; five sisters, Debra Denny and her husband Clifford, Karen Murphy and her husband Scott of Ogdensburg, Stacy Brenno of Waddington, Jamie Ladouceur, and Jodi Ladouceur both of Ogdensburg; step-daughters Nicole Gardner and her husband Gary, Alison Ginter and her companion Chris Maxwell and Hilary Barker and her husband Bill all of Syracuse; step-grandchildren, Nathan, Arron and Mollie; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her parents Lyle and Diane; along with a brother, Brian Brenno predeceased her.
Kathy was born on October 1, 1962 in Ogdensburg, the daughter of Lyle “JB” & Diane (Duprey) Brenno. She attended local schools for her education and married Richard Ginter on August 10, 1996 in Liverpool.
During her career she was employed at K-Mart, Newell Home Hardware, Lockheed Martin, The Police Benevolent Credit Union and most recently Homeland Security TSA at Syracuse Airport.
She enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, shopping, cooking, taking pictures and spending time with her family. Memorial contribution can be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Central New York.
