We have a real problem (if you haven’t noticed) in the North Country with Canada geese and all of their fecal matter that they leave behind on our riverfront property and parks. It’s too bad that you cannot even walk through Ives Park without stepping in it. And those of us that are fortunate enough to live on the river cannot even use their waterfront without getting into it. Why do certain people choose to feed them? I thought this was illegal? It seems no one cares. When you feed them they keep returning and so do their offspring and so does their crap. It’s sad to say, but property owners will begin to thin them out themselves unless something is done to control the population. Lets hope it doesn’t come to that.
