Thomas William Morley, 68, Macedon, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 16, 2010 after a battle with lung cancer.
Tom was born July 13, 1941 in Ogdensburg, the son of Howard and Barbara (Denny) Morley. He lived and worked in the Rochester area as a sprinkler fitter and member of Local Union 669 for most of his adult life and retired in 1996.
He returned to the North Country and the Adirondacks frequently and built a cabin in Cranberry Lake after his retirement.
Tom is survived by his wife, Anne (Trivilino) Morley; his daughter, Ellen (Eric) Derby; his sons, Andrew (Ann) of Radcliff, KY, and John (Karin) of Toney, AL; four grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jaimeson, Rachael, and Katrina Derby; his mother-in-law, Rose (Demeter) Trivilino; all of his siblings and their spouses; many nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
There will be no calling hours or formal service at Tom’s request. A gathering to share memories of Tom was held Saturday, May 22, 2010 at his home in Macedon.
