OGDENSBURG – Funeral services for Wanda J. (LaFave) Taylor, 51, of 316 Caroline St., will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at St. Mary’s Cathedral at 8 a.m. with Bishop Terry LaValley. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Brushton.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Frary Funeral Home.

Mrs. Taylor passed away on September 21, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband; Bruce Taylor; two sons; Lawrence Grenier III and his wife Brandy of Heuvelton and Travis Grenier and his wife Stacy of Lisbon; step children; Lisa Rice and her husband Daniel of Ohio, Darcy Morehouse and her husband Jim of Ohio, Sherry Taylor and Wesley Taylor, both of Malone; 21 grandchildren; 4 brothers; Henry LaFave and his wife Melanie of Ogdensburg, Roy LaFave Jr. and his companion Debra of Ogdensburg, David LaFave and his wife Lisa of Lakeland, Fla., Timmy LaFave and his wife Susan of Kingston Springs, Tenn.; 5 sisters; Pamela Rayburn and her husband Leon of Nashville, Tenn., Ann Jenner and her husband Jeffrey of Texas, Connie Scott and her husband Robert of Ogdensburg, Carla LaFave of Parishville, Stephanie Lawton and her husband Richard of Kingston Springs, Tenn., and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father, Roy J. Lafave Sr. in 1997.

Mrs. Taylor was born on May 11, 1959 in Ogdensburg, the daughter of Roy and Jessie Davis LaFave. She attended local schools and received her GED.

She married Lawrence Grenier II which ended in divorce, and then she married Michael Miller which ended in divorce. She married Bruce Taylor on Dec. 31, 2003 in Ogdensburg.

She worked for United Helpers Nursing Home as a nurse’s aide and then worked for Compass. Mrs. Taylor later worked at various construction jobs.

The last few years of her life, she worked for Acco Brands and also an over the road tractor trailer driver.

Donations may be made in her memory to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley.
