OGDENSBURG -- Funeral services for Walter K. Stull, Jr., age 64, will be held on Sunday, December 31, 2017, at 2:00PM at Frary Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Smith officiating.
Calling hours will be held from 12:00PM until the time of the funeral services at Frary Funeral Home, Ogdensburg. Mr. Stull was stricken at Castle Ridge Manor United Helpers on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, and pronounced at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center.
Walter is survived by two sons, Kenny Stull and his wife, Amy, of Ogdensburg and Craig Stull of Canton; a companion, Patsy Duprey of Ogdensburg; two step-children, Nicole McCarthy and her husband, Mike, of Lisbon, NY and Shelby Barr of Canton, NY; grandchildren, Noah, Kaydence, Kenna, Kyra, Graceland, Bella, Sophie, Kinleigh and Trenton; a sister, Debra Harper and her husband, Ron, of Brockville, Ontario and a brother, Ronald Stull and his companion, Donna Bouchey, of Ogdensburg, and nieces, nephews and cousins. Walter is predeceased by a son, Jason Stull and two grandchildren, Gage & Koltyn Stull.
Walter was born on August 22, 1953, in Easton, PA, the son of Walter and Beverly A. Corkins Stull. He attended Belvedere High School in Belvedere, NJ. He married Florence Barr on November 13, 1976, at St. Mary’s Cathedral with Rev. Raymond J. Moreau. Walter worked for Corkins Roofing, Hollis Roofing and Mr. Grant Roofing based out of Harrisville, NY. After he retired, he worked part time at Castle Ridge Manor United Helpers.
Walter enjoyed hanging out with his grandchildren, especially his “Little Man”, Noah, as well as spending time with friend, Willis. He also enjoyed hunting and working.
