Victor C. Fleegle, age 93, of Ogdensburg passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Riverledge Nursing Home. There will be no funeral services. Arrangements are with Frary Funeral Home.
Victor was survived by three sons; Harry of Rochester, Robert and Scott, both of Ogdensburg; one daughter, Vicky Urmey and her husband, Dean, of West Milton, OH; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Fleegle, North Carolina, and Polly Wambough, Bedford, PA; and one brother, Paul Fleegle, York, PA. He is predeceased by four sisters, Babes Short, Jeanne Smith, Mary Lois Hogan and Janet Stufft, and a brother, Ralph Fleegle.
Victor was born on October 17, 1920 in Spowl, PA, the son of Clinton and Helen Funk Fleegle. He attended local schools. He married Virginia Nugent on February 2, 1941 in Brooklyn. He worked for Diamond National for 34 years as a tow motor operator. He served in WWII from 1939-1945.
Mr. Fleegle enjoyed spending time with his family.
