Thomas Walter Dutton, 63, Lisbon

Funeral Services for Thomas Walter Dutton, age 63, of Lisbon, will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Frary Funeral Home with Rev. Patrick R. Severson officiating. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Frary Funeral Home. Burial will be in Madrid Cemetery in the spring. Mr. Dutton passed away on Sunday, March 30, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Dutton is survived by his wife, Sandy; his four children, Joshua and his wife, Holly Dutton of Kingston, Tennessee, Erin and her companion, Christina Wilson of Nashville, Tennessee, Jeremy Dutton and Jessica and her husband Michael Robinson both of Lisbon; four sisters, Jean and her husband ,George Corbin of Okeechobee, Florida , Sharon and her husband, John Dalton of Lake Clear, Cheryl and her husband, Pat Ruddy of Waddington and Beverly Morrill of Zephyr Hills, Florida; four brothers, James and his wife, Marie Dutton of Titusville, Florida, Charles and his wife, Carol Dutton of Rome, Jack and his wife, Song Dutton of Clinton, Massachusetts and Joe and his wife, Joanne Dutton of Madrid; five grandchildren, Cainnan Dutton, Zackary Dutton, Elizabeth Dutton, Ava Ames and Keira Hallet-Hutchins; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his two sisters, Janice Trimm and Barbara Dutton.

Thomas Dutton was born in Tioga General Hospital in Waverly, on October 21, 1949 the son of James and Margaret Fairlie Dutton. He graduated Madrid-Waddington High school in 1969. Thomas served in the United States Air Force after graduating from high school until 1975. He married Sandy Dawley at the first Congregational Church of Lisbon, NY on May 18, 1974. He retired from the New York State Corrections in the Maintenance Department.

Mr. Dutton was a past member of Lisbon Volunteer Fire Department for over 20 years, he served as the assistant chief, first responder and fire commissioner. He was also an active member of the Madrid Golf Association.

Thomas enjoyed golf, camping and spending time with his family.
