Sally M. Jacob, 55 of State Highway 37B, passed away on June10, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family and hospice. Sally was born on September 19, 1956 in Massena, the daughter of Arthur and Irene (Brown) Borey. She married Daniel E. Jacob on July 8, 1971 at the Grace Methodist Church. Sally was employed at Sunmount Development facility in Massena for 18 years, until her recent retirement due to her disability.

Surviving Sally is her husband, Daniel; a son, Steve and wife Kim of Massena; a daughter, Amy and husband Dale White of Massena; seven grandchildren; brothers Arthur and wife Barbara Borey of Norfolk, and James and wife Barbara Borey of DeGrasse; a sister, Donna and husband Ed Harvey of Norfolk; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Danny Joe in infancy; and a sister, Margaret.

Sally enjoyed camping, visiting the casino and taking day trips.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the Phillips Memorial Home in Massena. Friends and family may call on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Phillips Memorial Home in Massena. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
