Patricia A. Larue, 84 of Bishop Ave, passed away on Jan. 24, 2013 at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg surrounded by her loving family.
Pat was born on May 1, 1928 in Massena the daughter of Arthur Patrick and Emily P. (Peets) Hammill. She graduated from Massena High School and on May 1, 1947 she married John Larue at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Massena.
From 1969 to 1975 Pat worked in the cafeteria at Holy Family High School. She was a member of the League of Sacred Heart at St. Mary's and the Women's Democratic Club. She loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking and doing kind deeds for others.
Pat is survived by her loving husband, John; two daughters, Mary Emily and husband Rod Lauzon of Westville, and Nancy Ann Larue of Massena; two sisters, Loyola Valade and Marguerite Putnam both of Massena; a brother, Carl Hammill of Rensselaer Falls; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother James.
Memorial contributions may be made to Massena Meals on Wheels. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday Jan. 28, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Donald J. Manfred presiding. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in the spring.
