Norma J. Oshier of Lincoln Ave, passed away at her home on May 13, 2012 surrounded by her loving family and Hospice.
Norma was born on September 25, 1927 in Norfolk, the daughter of Charles and Ida (Huchins) Beaty. She graduated from Waddington School. On October 18, 1947 she married Allen "Slick" P. Oshier. Slick predeceased her on February 10, 2005. Norma was employed as a home health care provider working for the State Hospital.
Norma was an avid dog lover and was especially fond of her little dogs. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family and took pride in her home.
She is survived by three daughters and five sons, Jacqueline Kirby of Waddington, Deborah E. and Norm Williams of Ogdensburg, Antoinette and Donald Brown of Tampa, FL, Allen W. of Waddington, Kimball F. of Waddington, Tod L. of Waddington, Kevin H. of Waddington and Richard E. Oshier of Waddington; and 21 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.
She was predeceased by a son in-law, John Kirby; grandsons Billy Joe Williams and Brian Brenno; and son Phillip Oshier.

Graveside service will be held on Friday May 24, 2013 at 4:30 p.m. at Brookside Cemetery in Waddington. Those wishing to make online condolences may do so to www.phillipsmemorial.com.
