Graveside services for 89 year old Martha C. Thivierge, Baldwin Acres, Norwood, will be held in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Fine, at a later date. There will be no calling hours. Mrs. Thivierge passed away Thursday morning at her home.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Debra Sears and Steven McFadden, Potsdam; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Rose Gleaton, Virginia and Elizabeth Williams of North Carolina.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Albert; a son, Lawrence in 1998; brothers Albert, Frank, Tony, and Michael; and a sister, Mary Vitile.

She was born in Utica, on January 26, 1923 to the late Palmer and Elizabeth Deconde Pimpinella. She married Albert Thivierge on January 18, 1946. Albert passed away on December 24, 1980. Martha was a homemaker and enjoyed solving puzzles, doing embroidery and cooking.
