Mrs. Lucille J. Moses, age 89, of Parishville, passed away on March 9th at the United Helpers Maplewood Campus in Canton. Arrangements are with the Garner Funeral Service. Online condolences can be sent @www.garnerfh.com.
Lucille had been a patient there since February 22, 2008. There will be a spring burial at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Parishville.
Lucille is survived by two sons, Harry (Judy) Caringi and Bennie Caringi; a sister, Janet Binan; six grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sons, Roy and William Caringi; a brother, William Waite; and her husband, Harry T. Caringi.
Lucille J. Moses was born on September 28, 1923 in Syracuse, to the late Roy Waite and Myrtle Ware. She attended Parishville Schools. In 1941 she was married to Harry T. Caringi in the Rectory at the First United Methodist Church in Potsdam. Harry died in 1977. She then married Royal Moses. That marriage ended in divorce. Lucille loved the outdoors and she enjoyed hunting and fishing.
